What field type for a 'Memo' ?

Hello,

I want to create a field which will contain text data, including CR-LF. Do you know what field type I must use? And how will I insert such data with special characters?

It depends how long you need it to be.

You can also use a varchar field to hold up to 8000 characters, which in most applications is more than enough for a memo.

Define special characters. If you just mean cr+lf the can be inserted just like any other character. Or you can use the char() function.
