I would like to know what event ID’s I should be looking for on a daily basis on our servers. I have down loaded a program called EventCombMT it allows me to perform searches on event ID I type in. Can someone give me a list of event ID that I should keep an eye out for on a daily basis. (shutdowns, reboots, services)

I have a Windows NT/2000 mixed environment.

Thanks Scruby

I usually don't inspect before the fact. I let the error come to me and handle them as they come. In the event viewer, the severity is usually indicated by color or stated in some way. Just check your event viewer once in a while and keep an eye for the red alerts.
