Ok ok i know i should have configured things manually, but i thought as i hadnt done anything with that particular server for about 2 years id just run the wizard when i added and adsl router to the network and wanted to test a groupwise internet connection on the box.

The server only has the one lan card so i ran the wizard and gave it that ip address. Of course i have no idea what the wizard has done and now need to undo it. I can now quite happily get the server to talk to the internet i.e give ping a and it will happily do a dns lookup and ping the address. Unfortunaetly the server now doesnt talk to the internal lan !!!!!!

I've been althrough inetcfg and carnt find anything its changed....

help i need to get this box up and running on monday morning...

also

can i configure the internet conection with only one lan card ? i only want the lan connection for the groupwise internet agent so it can act as an e-mail server...

the configuration is

adsl line
cisco 837 router/modem configured with nat to pass smtp to the netware server.

for clients the 837 is acting as the gateway.

cheers

Graham
