Hello,

By default in Citrix, letters for the mapped drives of the clients are U: or V:

Did you change this setting with "driveremap"? (I think about changing U: and V: for C: and D:).

I ask this because tomorrow I will install and configure Citrix for 150 users and I would like to choose the best solution.

Thank you.

Hi,

Depends on your clients requirements!

Do they need to see the local PC's drives as C,D etc or are they not bothered?

I'd consider remapping the server to M,N etc so that you can then hide those drives and the client when saving files etc can save to network shares and also C,D drives, which will be their local PC.

Hope this helps,
Carl.

Thank Ogi.

If I understood correctly, your solution would be to map the local users drives to C and D (like the current users drives).

(Users have no opinion, as they will discover Citrix soon ;-) )

What is your solution to hide M and N? Do you suggest Hidecalc (as it is not possible with gpedit)?

Thanks

remap your server drives, users get confused if they don't see their local drives where they expect to see them.

Thanks Dave and Ogi. I will do it.
