Any idea what these folders are on my C drive? They are called:
50389836d6f388905 and 76aec368e2775451ce8bb5b668e8bb7
The first folder containts subfolders download,is and client and the second conatins subfolders called download,ip,is,lang, new, tsclient. They both conatin files called adminpak.msi .Can I delete these files, are they from windows 2K or maybe microsoft office?Spyware?

It looks very much like a temp folder left behind by the MS SP installer.
If that is indeed what it is, it should be ok to delete it.

In any case, if any of the files are in use, Windows shouldn't let you delete them...

So if I delete them I should get a windows warning message?Maybe If I move them to another folder ,would that work? That way I would be to put them back in place should they be needed.

These folders are sometimes left behind after applying service packs to a PC.

You are quite right to move these folders to another location, then waiting a while and deleting them later. That way if something was to go wrong, you can move them back to their original location.
