What are IOSUBSYS files? I have one missing :- mxlstack.vxd

Does this problem occur when you start your PC ?

They are usually files that are related to the hard drive in some way. Like compression, defrag, ATA/DMA settings. Try this.
Go to START>RUN and type sfc then hit enter. follow the prompts to repair/replace damaged or missing system files. (You may need your Win98 CD handy). If that does not work let us know. James Collins

I tried sfc.exe and scanned win98 cd rom for the file, but it aint there?
