I would like to learn how to create a Run Time using Access 2000 or 2002, but do not know what application software I need to purchase. I have Access 2000 and 2002, but I don't think I can create a runtime with this software. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

if you mean you want to make an exe with access then forget about it it isnt possible.
In the developer edition af access you can create an exe but that is just an install file to install an mde on yor system
the closest you get to an exe, but it isnt standalone, is to create an mde (see tools - database utilities) this makes sure the user cant get in the code but you will still need access or the access viewer installed on the clients computer.

Hi

You can buy Office XP Developer, which works fine. Or Office 2000 Developer, but the first one is much better.

Hi:

Yes, it is quite possible to compile and distribute a run time application with Microsoft Office Developer (2000, 2002, XP). With the purchase of the software you have an unlimited license to distribute the software which includes a "run time" version of Access. Your users do not have to have Access installed on their computer or workstations.

Here is the home page for Office Developer Suite at Microsoft:
