Hi guys,
I saw a post on this but the tips reported in there didn't work for me.
Here is the situation:
Server computer is Windows XP Home Edition
Client #1 is Windows 2000 Professional
Client #2 is Windows 98 SE
All of them are up to date (downloaded latest files from microsoft update web).
The Server (Windows XP) has two NICs, one for DSL "Modem" the other is connected to the HUB (NetGear).
Client #1 (Windows 2000 Pro) has one NIC connected to the HUB.
Client #2 (Win 98 SE) has one NIC which I disabled from the BIOS. It's instead using a wireless USB NIC from D-LINK (DWL 120).
The receiver is a D-Link DWL900AP+ connected to the HUB.
All three computer can see each other and can browse the Network, download/update files from each other, etc... basically the network is fine.
I can browse internet from any of those three computers almost without problems except for some specific websites:
and maybe some more that I didn't find out about yet.
Those three websites (for now are only three) are only accessible from the server (win XP Home), if I try to acces them from Win98 or Win2000 I just get IE5/6 to look for the websites without being able to find them?!?
But hear this...I can Ping the websites no problem from the clients?!? This is really some weird problem for me!!!
By the way if you are wondering, I can access secure websites from the clients without any problem (such as Bank of America or Hotmail).
Please HELP!!! I'm really curios about this one!
Thank you
