Hi,

We are running Metaframe XPa, Netware 6 and Zen 3, our users get a published desktop, and then a novell application launcher screen, from where they have icons that they use to launch their applications.

Had to do a restore of the server, and had an "admin" leave so passwords have changed all over the place.

anyways the problem is that i am only able to launch the NAL Window if i am logged as a Domain Admin.

Local Admin, Poweruser, member of the administrators built in group in the AD, just dont cut it. They Keep getting a memory cannot be read error and NAL refuses to launch.

add the user to Domain Admins built in group and Bang, instant fix. (if i want 20 Domain Admins)

Only Occuring on users who log into the citrix Server, Does not happen if the user logs onto a normal desktop machine.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Sounds like a permissions issue . Perhaps the Citrix server had some changes made to it (eg modifications to the registry permissions or perhaps group permissions) that were made prior to the backup used to restore the server.

To test, rather than add the users to the Domain Admins group, just add them to local admin group of the server itself and see if that works. Assuming it does, just start to cut the permissions down from there. Maybe find out from your local Netware support person exactly what permissions are required to fire up the NAL.....

Cheers
