I recently got an laptop with XP pro on it, i have all the upgrades/patches done, but it seems to have problem with the network. It was same problem even before patches.
The problem is that i have to wait for about 5 10 mins to see somones shares on the network.
The network (7 computers) has 6 x 2000 Pro and 1 x XP Pro wich makes the problem.
I have same settings for DNS/SubNet Mask for all network cards and TCP-IP/File Sharing also. I have all users on each computer with proper access.
The 2000's sees each other 100% but XP needs to wait for 5 10 mins to see somone's shares and access it.
I noticed that this could be an random event. I had an XP before with no problems.
