I ahve a question about some wierd things going on on my computers. I have a home network setup that has two desktops attached to it and I occasionally use two laptops on the network also. I'm on a broadband ISP. My problem that I'm having is when I'm on the computer sometimes and this happens on a couple or all of them, I will be typing or working in a program and the cursor will time out. I will be typing away and all the sudden the cursor dissappears and the only way that I notice is by looking up at the screen. It will randomly do this whenever. Once it starts it goes on until I restart the computer that I'm working on. This is very annoying and makes me wonder if there is someone hacked into my computer or that someone has set up some spyware somewhere on my network. I've heard about programs that can keep track of what someone has typed into there computer, didn't know if this may be what is going on.
This just happens whenever it wants sometime not for days and then sometimes multiple times in a day. I have spybot and adaware running, zonealarm and avg antivirus and everything seems to be working ok. I have a netgear router that runs a firewall also. I'm lost as to how to find the problem or fix it.
I am running a server on the extra desktop that hosts my website. This problem was happening before I set the server up though.

Has anyone heard of this before, any help would be appreaciated.

Thanks
Bob

I suppose the first thing to do is to thoroughly check all your machines for malware. Including a second opinion by the online virus scanners available.

Removing adware & spyware

Try the free version of "Ewido"

linney has a very valid point. Also check your Run registry keys under both Local Machine and User to ensure that there is nothing running that should not be.
