Help!

I got a laptop back from a physician and he said all he did was install McAfee Internet security on it and now all text is unreadable. I used my computer as a guide and I went to control panel/regional settings and made sure he was set to english but he was. I then checked the font folder and it was empty. I copied all the fonts back to the folder but that made no effect. I rebooted the laptop but now the fonts are gone again. I reloaded the fonts again but all the text is still in some weird code made up of alot circles and squares and other shapes.

Anyone have any ideas?

Once I installed the fonts for the second time and tried to open word, I started getting error messages I could read. One message told me to install the tahoma font and I could click on help/detect and repair and word would do that for me. I did this in word and it asked me for the Office CD and took about 10 minutes but it repaired all the fonts and now everything is working.

Dont know what this physician did to clear out all the fonts, just glad i got it back up.

Your feedback is much appreciated as it will help the next poster who comes this way.
