Hello all,
well i'm back at it, i have started redesigning a site and it looks different on pc's with the small font setting (Win98) or the lower DPI setting in XP. (RightClick Desktop > Properties > Setting > Advanced > DPI Setting (XP) Smaller Font(Win98). I have some floating boxes that aren't in the right place and the font size is screwed up. What i am wondering is there a Javascript out there that will override the setting on the pc and still show it the way it should be with the proper font settings? If not are there any suggestions?

thanks for any responses......

If there is, I suggest not using it. You're assuming way too much here. Internet is not your room or a small office. It has all kinds of browsers, operating systems and computers hooked into it. Design a workaround around that. Don't try to mess with the client's computer, try to make your page look respectable anyway. Some people have bad eyesight and they need to have bigger fonts, some people just prefer their setting. I know if a website would interfere with my settings on my local computer, I would never visit it again.
