Website abandoned or not 1

Hi!
I was a member of the website/forum that is currently down (message in German).
I had been participating into paying for this forum for a while. Owner did not want to run it anymore but we all are taken by surprise and do not know if she just abandoned it or there IS 'Server Error' that will be corrected.

What is the way to find out whom to pay or problem details? Is there way?

There is no way for you just to pay to take over the account, that would be a massive security and privacy breach if the host allowed you to do that. Even if the owner abandoned it, that does not give you any right to take it over without their consent.

The only legal way you can do this is to go through the owner and see if they will sign it over to you.

The eastcoastactors.net domain is not available, look closely at the page it offers other domains e.g. .com but the .net isn't available. The page is full of rubbish so look carefully.

Type eastcoastactors in the domain search box no www. at the start and then select .net from the dropdown box. On the next page it tells you that "eastcoastactors.net is already taken click here for details" (appears in small print under the Your Search Results banner).

Click it and it takes you to a page asking you to enter a security code, on the next page it will give you the owners contact details.
