Webmail v Normal email

Just a question that is not specific to exchange but I'm asking here as I can't find a more general forum.

I send an attachment (In this case, a PDF) to 2 places ...... one is read via outlook and works perfectly fine, the attachment opens and everything is sweet. The second is a webmail program and instead of getting an attachment, I get something like the following. If I send to my home account, I can get the attachment if I access my mail via Outlook, but it is corrupt (as below again) if I access the same mail (to the same address) via the webmail facility.

ANY IDEAS?????
