Has anyone ever had trouble accessing a Personal Address Book when connecting to a notes account via a browser? How did you solve. Otherwise, does someone know how the account pulls the PAB?
Thanks,
Michael

Hello,

What version of Notes are you using? If you're on R6, you can click Actions, Synchronize Address Book. This will provide you with your contacts when you're in the Web client. Hope this helps.

Rgds,

John

The Notes PAB is replicated in the mailbox.nsf itself. At which point this is done I am not quite sure, but I suspect that whenever you create/modify a Contact in the PAB via Notes, the changes are immediately implemented (at doc save) in the mailbox.
That way, when the browser is used, the Contact list is up to date.
I do not have any idea what functionality is used to update browser-made changes to the PAB, or even if it is done. Maybe the PAB Contact list is not actually used any more in R6, but only the mailbox Contact list (whether via Notes or browser).

Pascal.

Packet7,
Thanks so much. I am using R6 and synchronizing the address book worked. I knew there had to be an easy way.
