Webite showing data from SQL Server

This is something completely new to me.

I am lookin ag publishing an internal web site showing data stored in a SQL server database.

I can get my head around the web page but dont know how to link to the database to get the data?

Anyone recomend some source code / usefull sites etc.

The answer to your question will depend on the language you use to write the website (php, asp, asp.net, cold fusion, etc...).
