Folks,

I need a button in Webit that i can have my users select that will export their Webi report to Excel and/or PDF. I have some code that I inserted from BO, but it will not work. There is a missing JAVA class. I run BO on Windows 2000 Server, Webi JSP 2.7, Apache 1.3.29, Tomcat 4.1.29, and Tomcat Connector 1.2.

I really need help. I have looked at some other posts here with some vb code in them, but I honestly do not know how I can use that code in Webi. I am somewhat newer to BO and BRAND new with SDK. Any help appreciated!!!!

You need a solution that uses the WebI SDK. There is no free solution to this problem. You can buy products on the market that do this. Search the web for WebIntelligence and Excel.

Or, upgrade to V6. This functionality is built in.

No need to post your question twice. No one answered before because there isn't a good answer.

This subject is one that I have come across in many places, so it must be a popular topic. I am aware of 3rd party products to do this, but every one I have found is massively overpriced for a little bit of code.

I have worked with V6 and IMO it is not a viable product to use. There are WAY too many bugs in it to use for a production environment.

Thanks for the posting advice. Any answer is better than nothing at all.
