Does anyone have an idea how to force the webBrowser control to print in landscape mode when IE 5.0 is installed? I can do it if IE 4 or 5.5 is installed but not 5.0. According to MS, IE 5.0 gets it's printer settings from the same place as 4, but when I change the document defaults for the printer, only IE 4 will print landscape. IE 5.0 still prints in portrait. We have a mix of 4.0 and 5.0 in our corporation (I have 5.5 at my desk, that's how I know it works), and I need to resolve this ASAP.

I, too would like to know if there's an answer to this question. I'm developing an app that needs to print reports outputed to HTML files, which I need loaded into the webbrowser control. The HTML tables are very wide, and need to be printed in landscape mode. IS there a way to throw a script behind a command button that will set the browser's print setting to Landscape, and print?

Thanks!

One way is to set the default printer settings, print your report using the silent mode for IE, then reset settings, you can do this only (as far as i know) with the devmode structre (being the settings for the printers can be in different locations.)

Thanks,
James
