Web Viewer Options ?

Does anybody know if it is possible to control the availablility of the icons (Group Tree, Export, find etc) in the web viewer by passing paramaters at the end of the URL ?

eg.

http://mywebserver/test/rpt?GroupTree=off

If you're using the AciveX Viewer component, you can dynamically change the options by modifying the SmartViewerActiveX.asp page to change the <PARAM> elements to either display or not display viewer options.

<PARAM NAME=&quot;DisplayGroupTree&quot; VALUE=0>

I can't find the SmartViewerActiveX.asp file anywhere !

Where should it reside ?

Not sure how you're serving up the reports but the file is in my installed 8.5 Developer Edition directory in the CR web-samples pages:

C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Crystal Reports\Samples\En\Code\Web\Active Server Pages

In that directory, you'll fins a lot of samples using ActiveX, Netscape plug-ins, Java etc.
