do you know where the setting under so i can turn it off till i need it ?

thx

Hungster, you can't *get rid of it*.

Here's two non-VBA workarounds:

Put an apostrophe in front of the email address, i.e., 'Dreamboat@TheWordExpert.com

Type them all in. Copy the cells, paste to Word. Select them all, change the style to normal. Copy.

Hit Edit-Clear-All to clear the hyperlink format from the cells. Paste.

I'm almost certain there's a VBA workaround tho. Anne Troy

Thanks Dreamboats

yes it works but the problem i am facing is i can't really export that cell to my progress db to run the file, cuz it will screw up the entire command in the cel

it works if i just ignore the underline weblink, and just run it as what ever it shows

Go to Tools, AutoCorrect Options, select the Autoformat As You Type and uncheck internet and network paths with hyperlinks
