I would be more concerned with why it has not built the file for you. As long as you have the .NET Framework installed (1.0 or 1.1) it will build the DLL for you (I've just tested this on two machines, one with 1.0 and one with 1.1 and they both built it fine).

I've noticed one or 2 other posts on the web with the same problem. One suggested

"Do you realize that you have to run the build.bat file from the visual studio command prompt?"

Is this true?

Sorted this now, if you run the bat file from the Visual Studi Command Prompt it works ok!

I didn't run it from the VS prompt and it worked fine. Guess there must be conflicts on certain machines that means you have to.

I have now copied the dll to the server and set up the webctrl_client directory, yet the sample file tabstrip.aspx is rendered as plain text. Any ideas?
