Web Server Edition

Will the web server edition cover file/print sharing, or is the standard edition required for that? If it does cover it, do you know where on Microsoft's site I can find that information? Thanks.

web edition will do file and printer sharing, but then so would a workstation (altho somewhat more limited)

Yea, I know it can, but would a license for one cover it? I mean, it's not like we have 5 people sharing files off of it, a whole plant is.

I'd imagine if you have a license for the web server edition and the correct number of client access licenses, then i dont see why microsoft would have a problem..

you can always phone up their licensing helpdesk and ask!
