I use ISA 2K as a firewall and proxy server. All users need to enter their login credentials to access the internet and I understand that this is controlled in the Outgoing Web Requests listener section where I have selected ‘Basic Authentication’. I need users to add their credentials because we have a number of workstations using a shared PC login and each user has their own internet access login for security and accountability.
However, I also have another user using Payroll software with the Government Gateway section built-in but this doesn’t work because the software doesn’t ask for any user credentials when trying to access the internet. If I temporarily turn off the authentication request on the ISA servers Outgoing Web Requests listener, the Government Gateway works perfectly. Does anyone know if I can create any rules or additional listeners that will solve this problem?
Thanks, John
