Hi

I'm haveing a strange problem with a user of mine the can't browse web pages.

on one site he can browse the network fine and the internet aswell.

he is using a sony laptop that is isued it's ip address from a DHCP server the range is 10.0.1.0

But when he takes his laptop to a different site he can only browse the network and not the internet. He is still getting his ip via dhcp but the only difference is the range 10.0.0.0

Both sites use the same WINS and DNS servers, every one else on the 10.0.0.0 site can browse the network and the internet fine. I have another use using XP and moving between offices and he doesn't have a problem.

I have tried giving him different DNS server addesses but this makes no difference. I have also tried giving him a fixed IP address but the same still happens.

Any Ideas?

What Os is he/she running?. Sorry i cant do much to help but sony laptops and networks do not go together
