Hi to all,

an urgent problem to be solved....

I had setup the exchange server 2000 on a win 2000 server and is running fine.

The problem lies in the webmail access

No matter how I set the directory security ... the prompt for password keeps on poping up.. even after log on what could be the problem??

I am trying to solve for more than 2 days still the same... Pls help.

Thanks in advance

regards,

Ha exactly what ive just stared getting.

Do you get the login box , you type the user name n password, it then loads the page but keeps popping up the box?

If this is so ive noticed this on some users not all.

Yes I got this problem only when the user is out of town.
U have any solution??

There is no resolution to this problem you are stuck with it I am afraid - only a true genius would be able to resolve this...

Ok guys ive done it.

Check the FE and BE server settings within system manager

server/exchange/protocols/http/virtual server and both exchange and public right click and goto properties

goto ACCESS TAB and authentication , make sure basic is ticked and the defaul domain is the same as the virtual server. so in my case company.co.uk ( this is located on the first screen as you right click properties) make sure you do the same for public also on both FE and BE

that sorted mine .
