I posted a message about this program when we were using metaframe 1.8 with NFuse17 and never got a resolution and am now trying with Metaframe XP with Web Interface.

The problem is when I am connected to the internal network either in the office or VPN, i can get the published apps to open fine. However, if I am using the web interface outside of the network, I can get the app list to load but the programs will not run. Error is "Cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame server. The Citrix MetaFrame server you have selected is not accepting connections."

The setup is - Web Interface installed our web server which resides on the DMZ. MetaFrame XP installed on a 2000 server on our inside (trusted) network. I have allowed incoming connections to the citrix server from the outside on port 80 for xml service. I have also opened it up for port 1494 and all ports to the web server.

Our network config is - we have three public class C network blocks. This allows all of our servers to be connected to via any of the 3 ip blocks for redundancy. The nat'ing is done after the firewall and before the router on a internet load balancer. The current metaframe 1.8 server with nfuse 15 works fine as both are in the internal network. Any ideas?

THe current setup with NFuse 15 works fine and the metaframe 1.8 server is not using an altaddr. The NFuse page is setup using the public ip and port of the metaframe 1.8 server.

So if I run altaddr on the metaframe xp server and give it one of its public addresses, how should i configure the Web Interface in the manage servers section. Should I enter the private or the public ip. I currently have the public ip set which gets me that app list but will not run outside of the network.

Also on that link, in the Firewall setting sections, it assumes the citrix server is on the DMZ as well. How should I modify the policies? Thanks.
