we have a foxpro database which we are relocating from the c: to d: drive. Our problem is getting ther server to find the index file on the d drive when the web page is called. We have moved netscape on the d drive also, and changed the registry. Does anyone have a suggestion for us?

Thank you,

G. Miller

It's been my experience that most Foxpro developers tend to hard link directory/file locations into their apps, causing the execution to go through a specified directory path.

That is true, I think that our problem is related to how netscape is being loaded though not the hard coding in the program itself. If we put put netscape on the c drive, our web page loads up...if we take netscape off c and put it on d, the page does not load up.

Any suggestions appreciated. Many thanks.

hmmm

Well one thing you might want to try is installing the application into your "D" drive bypassing C: (you may or may not be able to get away with this though)

What's the name of the application you are trying to use ??

we are tring now to reintall netscape server software to our d drive hoping this will help.
