WE are running CR 8.5 on an NT4 servers with 2k workstations. I am having trouble with a single file; COMDLG32.OCX. I have created images with this file included in C:\Winnt\system32 directory. The reports will not run on the newly imaged machines yielding me an error message telling me that the above OCX file is not there. Surprise, somehow it is not there so I copy and paste the file and everything works fine. However, to automate the file installation I try to run the copy/paste through a logon script and that OCX file will not copy no even if I try to run the script with the runas /administrator- the script works with other file just fine. I am at a loss right now as to why this particular file will only copy if I do it manually.

Thank you in advance.....

Perhaps it's a hidden file?

I just tried a batch file here and it copied OK...

I first though that, but I took that hide attribute off of the system32 directory and the OCX did not show up until I manually copy/pasted. What also leads me away from this is that crystal will not run unless I do the manual copy/paste. After doing it manually the reports run fine. Additionally this has happened through two different images. HMMMMMMMMMM
