WCESCOMM.EXE- Application error

WCESCOMM.EXE- Application error. The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click ok to terminate the application.

Getting this error on boot with Ipaq's attached to Windows 2000 computers, running Novell 4.83 SP1.

This happens on boot of the computers whether or not the IPaq is in the cradle.

Does anyone have a solution for this one?

Do you have Symantec Corporate Edition 8.0 ... If so try to install version 8.1 or another antivirus. This problem occurs when the service of symantec conflicts with the service of your Ipaq

Yes Symantec Corp v8, will see if we can test with version 8.1. Thanks!
