Was that bug reported and or fixed yet ? BCM50 w/distinct ring

My system is configured so the voice mail within the BCM50 answers after 4 rings.

One of my lines has a 2nd number, that gives 2 short ring instead of the regular one. The voice mail sees that like 2 different rings so anwers after 2 rings instead of 4.

My bcm50 is version 6.0.2.05.237

Was that fixed in a more recent version (if a more recent exist) ?

No because it is 2 rings or a destinctive ring from the CO. Un like an internal ring that the double ring is seen as 1 ring.

Well, I'm pretty sure my CICS saw those as 1 ring...
but you're right, seen that way they might not consider it as bug.

pump the no. of rings to 6 on that trunk and then test it.

The problem is the "other ring" on that same line works correctly and answers after 4 rings. If I set the ring count higher on that trunk, it will modify it for both phone numbers, so one will answer at 4 rings, and the other one at 8 rings.

It's not a major problem, but I though at first this could be considered as a bug.

If you have the AA answer then you could have the lies answer on different ring counts. 4 rings to 8 rings.

cook1082 I have 2 phone numbers on the same physical trunk, so I can't set different ring counts on the same physical trunk.

That is the very base of the problem.
