Hello all I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a good place for me to learn Microsofts SQL programming. It seems my company is going to start switching over so I would like to learn a little about it. I have always been more into Hardware side of computers. I am not a true programmer so it would need to be very Basic start. Self taught would be Great that way I can learn at my own pace type of thing. New venture for me into Prgramming. Thanks for any information you can give me in advance. Even something that I should maybe start with would also be helpful.

This would teach you the bare bones stuff, after that a book is probably the way to go. There is a good FAQ on books here: (thanks SQLSister!)

My personal favorites are Inside SQL Server (2000) and The Guru's Guide to Transact-SQL.
