i want to enable SQL MAIL in my SQL 2000 SERVER.I dont know how to do
can anybody help me ?

To enable SQL mail Exchange server should be configured in the domain and a SQL mail id should be created. In the server where SQL Server is installed, that mail id should be configured using outlook of some other mail client. Now, go to the respective server in enterprise manager. Click "Support Services" and go to "SQL Mail". Right-click and go to properties. Select the mail id configured. SQL mail is configured now.

See an FAQ that I wrote for the Setup/Administration group: faq962-4452.
