i'm going to have a thumbnail with 3 links next to it for 3 different resolutions that, when clicked, will set the image as the users wallpaper. anybody have a clue how to do that?

I just know that Explorer can put an image in background by rigth-clicking on yhe image and selecting put in background.

I don't know how you'll do that.

I really don't think you can.

However If there is a built in function in Internet Explorer that allows you to do such a thing it will most likely ask the user if he wants to set the image as it's desktop image and the user would have the choice of saying yes or no.

Certain things are like that with javascript security. If we could do everything wouldn't that be a pain? I wouldn't do it but I can name a few that would play all kinds of prank on poor helpless people. Gary Haran
