W98SE Problem? msvcrt.dll ntdll.dll

Hi
I just installed Adobe Photoshop Album.

When I run it I get the message:

The msvcrt.dll file is linked to missing export ntdll.dll:RtlGetNtVersionNumbers

and the app dont start.

I read somewhere that this has something to do with XP installers and to replace the offending dlls with those from cabs using sfc. This I did - no change. Any ideas?
