I have a PC usng XP professional and a Server using Windows 2003 server. Neither one can see the other on the network. There are static IP's for both. The server is in location A and the PC is at location B. Server can see other PCs at location A. The PC can see PCs at location B and A. Other PCs at location A can see the Server and the PC at location B. For some reason only the server cannot see the PCs at location Bnor can the PCs at location B see the server. There are routers connecting these two networks that are used as the gateway for the side they are on. I am trying to connect by IP address. Location A has an IP address like: 192.1.1.200. And the PC has an IP address like: 192.1.2.201. What could be the problem with them seeing each other? They are both Dells right out of the box with their network settings changed.
