W2k Server as BDC in NT4 Domain

nope. W2K can only be member server in NT4 domain.
Nope, it wont work.
When you upgrade, make sure you have a solid DNS infrastructure in place, I went with configuring a brand new primary DNS in 2K and went from there. When you upgrade, make sure you have a NT 4 PDC that was brought offline for safe keeping in case the sh** hits the fan and you botch your old directory. I am assuming you will have another nt 4 BDC online when you do this...
Then upgrade your PDC...then once smooth, you can install that backup server as a second DC. Straight to Win2k. You can operate in mixed mode NT 4 BDC and 2K DC For as long as you like, the 2K DC will also be the PDC emulator and facilitate communication between the NT 4 boxes. Shakamon
