W2k RRAS Service Problem

Hey guys and girls,

My W2k Server w/Terminal Services recently will not open up the RRAS MMC without displaying the following errors:
(not word for word)
For the logfile-Cannot connect to datastore.
For the policy-Cannot connect to datastore.

After those two messages are acknowledged, the console opens up but the RRAS service is not started and will not start. Only clue in the event viewer is RRAS terminated with server specific error 126, of which I can't find any info. about at all. I've worked on this all weekend to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
