W2K Administrators Account Tampered

Hi,

I am a administrator for several W2k member servers in my own OU with in a domain. I am not a domain admin nor do I have access permission at that level. A strange thing happened,which I do not know how to uncover the cause of it. All 5 members of the administrators group with in my OU including myself were deleted from the administrators group. The domain admin indicated that he is clueless as to how that could happened and suggested that an Application called NETIQ security feature might have caused it but I am skeptical. How can I secure my environment without being parinoid and how can I find out who could have caused this?
