Hi,

I am assisting in the admin of a pure Win2k network, about 350 users, all win2k servers and workstations.

From time to time, someone will call me saying that they can't access one of their network drives or email or something network related sounding. When I go into AD, I see their account is locked out - how can this be, when they've logged on to the domain OK for minutes or even hours later their account is simply locked.

I've come across this before but put it down to the clients at that time ebing Win98

Any help appreciated.

I have seen where someone doesn't log off for a long period of time and there password will expire. They won't be able to access network shares but can still work locally just fine. Not sure about account being locked out though.

No, this is not the problem. Thanks anyway.

Will
