Hi,

We have a W2003 Terminal server as a member server in NT4 domain. All works fine except:-

Disabling mapping of client PC drives.
We are using usrmgr.exe from Windows 2000 to get a user manager that shows the TS config settings. Switching off mapping of client drives in a users profile here has no effect - if the user enables local drives in their remote desktop connection, they still get them:)

We don't want to disable for all users, just some.

Any ideas?

Thanks
David

OK, Now I'm confused.

Just built a 2nd W2K3 Terminal server and installed it as a member server in Windows 2000 domain.
I still can't limit client drive redirection on a per user basis - it's all or nothing.

TSTest domain user created.
Enable in TS Configuration
Not configured in local GP
Always allows no matter what setting is in domain user profile.

Disable in TS Configuration
Disable “do not allow client drive redifection” in local GP – ie allow
Always allows no matter what setting is in domain user profile.

Disable in TS Configuration
Enable in local GP - ie deny
Never allows no matter what setting is in domain user profile!

Any ideas anyone - or am I missing something blindly obvious??

David
