I have three networked PCs all running window 2000, what I want to do is see a log on each PC showing when each user logged on to and then off of their PC, I have a log file on my PC MAIN.LOG which does the trick, however this is not on either of the other two, is there an alternative log file I should be looking for? Or is there any free software out there I can use?

Thanks.

Ahhh wolluf! It's my Logitech Mouse producing the Main.log. Any ideas?

I don't know about MAIN.log. But I know you can audit user logon/logoff by setting lOCAL SECURITY POLICY.

start --> settings --> control panel --> administrative tools --> local security policy --> local policies --> audit policy

and you will see policy like AUDIT ACCOUNT LOGIN EVENTS, and many more, set them to audit successful or fail logon/off event or both.

hope this helps
