I just got my test servers connected to each other so I have my root domain
and in another office I have a child domain. There are talking to each
other over the internet without VPN.

3 Questions
How do I set the RRAS to be a VPN server so they talk securely over the
internet?

How do I tell the servers to only talk across the VPN and not the internet?

How do I move my users from the root of the domain to the child domain?

Thanks A Bunch for any help you can give me,

You may want to just invest in 2 of those little VPN endpoint routers to create a permanent tunnel. Just a thought... Thanks,

Matt Wray

Yes but how do I get it to talk over the VPN's and not just the internet. Any other help on the original question?

Give the servers private IP's with the VPN routers as the gateway, and internal traffic will route thru the VPN and outbound will go to the internet. We have a similar setup with our corporate office in Maryland connected to our office in Texas thru the VPN tunnel... Thanks,

Matt Wray
