VPN through Wingate 1

Hi, I have a VPN server on the internal side of a Wingate Proxy Server.
What ports do I need to enable to get it to work externally??
I enabled 1723 TCP and it still didn't work, am I missing something here?

You shouldn't have to change a thing. I have used Microsoft's VPN through Wingate from home using the same configuration. I presently employ VPN through a dial-up utilizing Wingate at work (temporary, until high speed solution is installed) and it works perfectly. You can come in through Wingate by the way, not out. This is where the proxy comes in. I haven't tried to map a port allowing outgoing VPN Sessions (I don't think Wigate will allow it). Try starting a VPN client session using another network to get back to yours. You may be surprised that you can easily connect! Some ISP's do filter port 1723 (so I've heard) and may cause a connection difficulty. They want to sell this capability to you!!! Let me know if you have any other questions!

So where was your VPN server in relation to your Wingate Server? Were they on seperate boxes?

Did you only need to map incomming TCP connections on port 1723 ??
