We have a lot of VPN phones in use. But only one seems to create some sort of beeping sound that is only heard on the receiving end. We do not have this issue w/any IP phones in our offices. Thoughts on what to check? We have swapped this user's phone several times.

Does the user have a headset? Beeping is indication of headset battery being low.

Sandra, I don't see that you posted the type phone. VPN phone is not very specific.
4620sw, 4621sw, 4625sw, these are specific types of IP phones.
What event causes the beep to be heard?

Model - 4621.
She uses the speaker mainly but I have never heard this beeping when I speak w/her. Could it be talk-off? It does not occur on her 9650 IP phone in the office. I'm trying to find out how often it occurs. I have also asked she alert me prior to making a call so I can run a trace.

(brainstorming)wonder if it's the same beep that someone would get if they pressed an audix-record feature button on their phone?
so only the end user hears the beep and not the party on the trunk?

Here's the latest:
No audix record buttons
User had a call today on an external line using her speaker and it was perfect.
User had another call today that was internal only using her speaker and the beeping occurred. Problem with tracing is the buffer fills up fast and it did that before the beep. It is a random beep so not occuring every minute or 90 seconds, etc. I am making some notes on different calls about how she is connected (CLAN board, MedPro, etc.) but I have to say this is extremely frustrating! No one else has this problem. Could her home setup have any bearing on this?
