VPN Setup! Cisco 831 Router or MS RAS??

Is there any advantage (speed/security)to do vpn authentication at router (cisco 831) vs server? And if I use router vpn software do I disable RAS? There are only 5 vpn clients; probably no more than 2 connected at any given time. Our current connection is setup with RAS and is somewhat slow.

Any help with this matter would be soo much appreciated!
