Hello - if I set up at home with a wireless router and wireless ethernet card, and I VPN in to my office, is the tunnel as secure as it would be if I was "hard-wired" at home?

Thanks in advance for any/all replies! :)

If you are running the VPN client on the PC, your info to the other end of the VPN is as secure as hard-wired. If your router makes the VPN connection the information will be completely unsecure going from the router to the PC.

Any traffic not routed over the VPN on the wireless LAN is of course unsecured...
