VPN phone on Netgear

Hello,

I am using a Netgear fvx538 with about 15 5610 vpn phones on a IP 500(4.2) (the vpn set up based on tek tip 196)

Everything works fine until the netgear router locks up (once a day!). I'm on firmware 3.0.4-19. (The latest firmware)

Any have any experience with this router? if so, what firmware are you running? I'm going to move it to 2.1.3-17 which is what tek-tip 196 had tested it with.

we have used the FVX538 and had a lot of problems. the funny thing is that we switched to a 338 and it has worked a lot better!

the router was bought because Avaya has it on their recommended list. so madasaht1969, making useless posts does nothing to help anyone.

From my research, sounds like netgear has some firmware issues and was wondering which one gave folks the best result/stability.

I am running a 338 as well on 3.0.3-17. I have had no problems with the firmware.
