VPN or RPC over HTTP?

Which is a better and a secure solution to connect to a Exchange server?

I can either setup a VPN or setup rpc over http.

thanks in advance

rpc over http is not inherently secure not is it designed to be.

VPN is more secure but is not encrypted.
