My office is getting a High speed DSL connection. I would like to enable only certain computers access to the internet but not others. How can i do this. What security procautions should i take to secure the system from outsiders. How can i monitor every site the employees goto.

GO FOR ISA Server, which will secure your network and user/ip based access for net.

or you could try a linux solution - squid is a really easy program to set up and you can lock out various websites, keywords and also set userlists so that they can use username and passwords to authenticate usage or even set up time windows
